VOD: Texas A&M P Drew Kaser hits the streets to campaign for the Heisman

Texas A&M P Drew Kaser is not letting the season get in the way of his Heisman campaign.

Kaser and A&M have been campaigning for his Heisman candidacy since the beginning of the season and he recently walked around the Texas A&M campus with a sandwich board to continue the awareness for his Heisman candidacy.

Given the emergence of Kenny Hill as A&M's QB (and third-favorite for the Heisman), Kaser needs to do all the campaigning he can. He's being overshadowed.

OK, OK, the Kaser for Heisman movement is a giant joke. A punter simply doesn't have a chance to win the trophy. But that's what makes Kaser and Texas A&M's perserverance so funny. He got some interesting looks while parading around A&M. Hill could have been mobbed had he done that.

Before the season begain, Kaser even wore a "Punters are People Too" shirt as part of his push.

Kaser was a finalist for the Ray Guy Award, given to the nation's best punter, in 2013. He's punted just seven times this season for an average of 41.7 yards per kick. (His one punt against Lamar was a 24-yard pooch punt.)
