Mississippi State releases bowl promo set to Miami Vice's opening credits (Video)

Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen 1980s style.

There’s a large gap between when bowl matchups are announced and when games are actually played, which, apparently, Mississippi State is using to get creative with its video editing software.

The school’s YouTube channel released a Capital One Orange Bowl promo set to the opening theme of the '80s hit show "Miami Vice."

And it is something to behold.

The bowl game, which is against Georgia Tech, is being held in Miami.

In honor of Mississippi State’s effort, we decided to get a little creative with Georgia Tech and put coach Paul Johnson in another very popular 80s television show set in Florida.

Unlike Mississippi State going with the fast, hip show of the decade, we thought this program was a little more coach Johnson’s speed.

Thank you for being a friend.
