Mad Dash: Basketball player fakes handshake, steals ball, dunks

There's a fine line between playing to the whistle and poor sportsmanship and Portland State's Bryce White knows it all too well. He's become a polarizing web figure since Wednesday's loss to Portland, where he faked a conciliatory handshake down 14 points to steal the ball and dunk as time expired. The dunk didn't accomplish much on the scoresheet, but it was pivotal for gamblers and social media gawkers everywhere.

For another not-so-smooth basketball move, check out Guam's Vernave Calinagan Gustilo as he attempts to avoid a screen by an Australian big man in a new and unconventional way. Most players do their best to run around a screen, but using his lack of height to his advantage, Gustilo decided to go under the screen. It was definitely a new move, even if it didn't exactly change the game, so we'll give him some points for originality.
