Bleacher Report puts together hypothetical Ravens trade package for 49ers WR Deebo Samuel

The Baltimore Ravens have a very talented group of wide receivers that includes Marquise Brown, Rashod Bateman, Devin Duvernay and others. Not to mention, tight end Mark Andrews is a great receiving threat himself, as both he and Brown went over 1,000 receiving yards in 2021. However, could the team look to add another star to the wideouts already on their roster?

On Wednesday, it was reported that San Fransisco wide receiver Deebo Samuel had requested a trade from the organization. In response, Tim Daniels put together a few hypothetical trade packages for Samuel, including one from Baltimore. He has the Ravens trading their 2022 first round pick (No. 14) their 2022 third round pick (No. 76), and a 2023 third round pick for the disgruntled star.

“Baltimore Ravens send: No. 14, No. 76 and 2023 third-rounder”

On paper, Samuel would be a great fit in Baltimore’s offense alongside Brown, Bateman and Andrews as receiving threats. He also is a versatile player, being able to line up all over the field and get the ball in his hands from any position. However, part of the reason that Samuel wants out of San Fransisco is apparently his unhappiness with the way he has been utilized.

There would be plenty of questions on the Ravens’ side of things in a potential trade for Samuel, including how much capital they’d be willing to part with, how his impending big-money extension has an impact, and more. However, there’s no question that Samuel would be a difference maker in an offense led by quarterback Lamar Jackson.
