What can Blake Griffin give the Boston Celtics this season?

It seems as if playing for the Boston Celtics as a frontcourt player can be something of a fountain of youth with veteran Boston bog man Blake Griffin having a similar rejuvenatory season playing with the Celtics this season as Al Horford did starting with Boston’s last campaign, with the Oklahoma alum looking like he turned back the clock on nights when he fills in for Horford.

Of course, some of that is the fact that Horford is himself on a limited schedule and not playing both games of a back-to-back, giving Griffin plenty of time to rest and heal up between big-minute outings. What can the Oklahoma native give the Celtics this season playing under such a regime?

The team clearly hopes it looks like what he did against the Toronto Raptors on Monday, but even if that’s a rare night for the six-time All-Star, Boston fans are loving what they see.

The hosts of the CLNS Media Garden Report podcast got together to talk it over in a recent segment — take a look at the clip embedded above to hear what they had to say.
