What is Binary Defense? Stow company featured on U.S. Open winner Wyndham Clark's gear

If you looked closely at golfer Wyndham Clark during the final round of the U.S. Open this weekend, you would have seen the company Binary Defense on the sleeve of his blue shirt.

What is Binary Defense, exactly? Well, for one thing, the company based in Stow.

The company, located at 600 Alpha Pkwy, provides cybersecurity and helps to detect, monitor and respond to cyberattacks.

According to the publication Cleveland Inno, the company received it's first bit of investment last November:

Binary Defense Systems Inc. has raised $36 million to speed sales and marketing of its technology that uses "a proactive, hacker’s mindset" to guard computers against cyber attacks.

"Good luck to Binary Defense Brand Ambassador, Wyndham Clark, in the U.S. Open starting tomorrow," the company posted on LinkedIn last week. "All of Binary Defense is cheering you on!"

Clark won the U.S. Open at The Los Angeles Country Club this weekend, holding off Rory McIlroy and outclassing Rickie Fowler to win his first major championship.
