Bills’ Von Miller updates status of injured knee

Often the optimist, Buffalo Bills pass rusher Von Miller has repeatedly said he’ll be ready to go by the start of the 2023 NFL season.

Miller, 34, is rehabbing from an ACL injury which ended his first season in Buffalo prematurely. From nearly the second he went down, Miller has assured everyone that he’ll be back by next year, even if that’s a quick return from such an injury.

It remains to be seen if that actually happens. General manager Brandon Beane pumped the brakes a little, saying via video conference from OTAs that there’s “no timetable” for Miller’s return.

But Miller feels there’s some proof in the pudding that is his recovery… and it’s called golf.

Miller said he’s been back on the links for about a month now. Because of that, he’s optimistic he’ll be ahead of schedule.
