Bills’ Josh Allen downplays shoulder injury after Patriots loss

Bills quarterback Josh Allen was in no mood to make excuses following his team’s loss to the Patriots in Week 7. Even if it’s a legitimate one.

In the 29-25 loss, Allen was off target with some of his throws. The shoulder injury he sustained against the Giants last weekend might have caused some problems.

But not in Allen’s mind.

“No. We’re good to go,” Allen said in a definitive manner.

Bills head coach Sean McDermott took the same approach.

“No I didn’t get that sense. I know he’s a little bit sore right now but nothing in addition to what he was going into the game,” McDermott said via video conference.

Allen finished the contest 27-for-41 passing with 265 yards. He had two touchdowns and one interception.

Upon giving his own health update, Allen was certainly saying so in a straightforward way. He was in a mood reflective of how the game played out for the Bills.
