Bills hire Joe Brady’s friend, DJ Mangas, as offensive aide

The Buffalo Bills have added DJ Mangas to their coaching staff. He will serve as an offensive aide.

Mangas did not go far physically. He most-recently served as offensive coordinator for the University at Buffalo this past season.

Mangas, 34, left the UB program on Dec. 1, according to the Buffalo News. He is known as a friend of current Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady.

The two worked today in 2019 at LSU. At that time, Mangas was an offensive analyst. Brady was the team’s passing game coordinator.

That season, LSU undefeated and won the national championship.

Like Brady and Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott, Mangas played at William & Mary College as well.
