MINTY BETS: UFC Fight Night takes place this weekend at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. I'm Minty Bets here with Kevin Iole to give us his best bet for the main event. The main event will be a featherweight bout between Max Holloway, minus-550, versus Yair Rodriguez, plus-400. What is our pick for this one, Kevin?
KEVIN IOLE: Well, I'll tell you what, there's going to be a lot of action in this fight, Minty, but I don't see how Yair can hang with Max Holloway. I mean, Holloway has been so good for so long and I think you've seen in his last couple of performances he's even pushing it to a new level here.
The betting odds are moving in Holloway's direction. I think a lot of people would agree with me. And, unfortunately for Rodriguez, you know, he's been very inactive. He had a two-year absence, basically. A little over two years-- 25 months-- since we've last seen him fight, so I like Max in this one.
I'm going to make two plays on this. I'm going to play Max Holloway to win. I'm going to lay the money and I think it's going to get over 600, so I'm going to get it now when I can at 550. So I'm going to go ahead and play Max Holloway to win. I'm also going to play the fight to end inside of five rounds. BetMGM doesn't have the props up yet, they will later this week, and I really do like, on that particular fight, that one to end before the distance.
