Minty Bets and Ariel Epstein break down which MLB teams are trending up and which are trending down this week.

MINTY BETS: I'm Minty Bets here with Ariel Epstein, and it is time for our MLB Stock Up/Stock Down segment, where we tell you who we're loving and who we're fading in the MLB. So Ariel, why don't you kick us off and tell us who you're stocking up on?
ARIEL EPSTEIN: Mindy, I'm stocking up on the Minnesota Twins. The Twins, 13 out of next 16 games, in August are all at home! It's crazy, especially because the opponents they're facing at home are all below 500 except the San Francisco Giants. The Giants are one game above 500, as we're recording this. The record for The Twins at home this season is pretty good, it's 32 and 25 on the season. That's why for at least the month of August, Mindy, I'm stocking up on the Minnesota Twins.
MINTY BETS: I'm going to stock up on the Baltimore Orioles. Now, this may just be me wanting to write this underdog story, but the Orioles are such a hot team right now. And they are so close to a post-season spot. This is a top 10 team offensively, and they've got one of the best bullpens in the league. So I'm going to continue to bet on the Orioles, as I see fit, day to day. And I may sprinkle a little bit on them to win the AL East at 250 to 1. So let's stay with the AL East, and Ariel why don't you tell us who you're stocking down on?
ARIEL EPSTEIN: This pains me, Mindy. However, I'm stocking down on the New York Yankees. The Yankees have a ton of injuries right now that are really hurting them. Their leadoff hitter, DJ LeMahieu, he's out with a toe injury. One of their sluggers, Giancarlo Stanton, also on the IL, in addition to Luis Severino, one of their starters, on the IL. Season pretty much over. The Yankees also can't figure out who's going to be their closer. They're closer, Aroldis Chapman, got moved to the 6th inning.
Some of the other closers they've tried out haven't really worked out in the long run. Until the Yankees can get their healthy players back, in addition to getting someone in the closing position, they can rely on, this losing streak may continue through the month of August. The losing streak I'm talking about, the Yankees have lost 9 of their last 11 games. They've been limited to three runs in eight of those games. At most, three runs in eight of those games. That's why I've got to just stock down on the Yankees for the time-being.
MINTY BETS: I feel your pain because I'm also stocking down on my favorite baseball team, and that's the LA Angels. Now, this is kind of obvious because they've been a dumpster fire ever since the end of May. They're currently on a hot streak, but overall their bottom five in batting average and OPS, and their pitching is just average, which is not good enough. This team is not ready for the playoffs. They're not ready to win a championship. And it saddens me. So I'm going to stock down on the LA angels. As I see, the Houston Astros are going to dominate this division for the time-being.
