Betting: Cowboys surprising bettors this season!

MINTY BETS: Welcome to The Mint, the sports betting show where we're not trying to make you money. We're just trying to make sure you don't lose it all. I'm Minty Bets, and this week, we need to talk about the Dallas Cowboys.
- How about them Cowboys?
MINTY BETS: If you know me, you know that I'm not too fond of America's team.
- That's heresy, my friend.
MINTY BETS: But, believe it or not, the Cowboys are the only team to have covered the spread in all four weeks of the season.
- How can that be?
MINTY BETS: This is a tough pill to swallow, because, last season, they started off going 0 and 8 against the spread, and so did I, betting on all eight of those games. This is why I swore to myself that I would never bet on the Dallas Cowboys ever again. I feel so strongly about the pain Dallas has caused me that I even try to help out my friends, like Jared Quay, by advising them to not bet on the Cowboys too. Jared, you said you would never bet on the Cowboys again.
JARED QUAY: I know, and I can't stop it. I don't know if I have a cowboy betting addiction. I don't know what's going on.
MINTY BETS: But now this really has me rethinking my rule. I just don't understand how Dallas is the only team undefeated against the spread.
- No one knows what it means, but it's provocative.
MINTY BETS: Maybe it's the Hard Knocks effect. Maybe it's the fans being back in the stands, or maybe the Cowboys are finally good this year. No, that couldn't be it. Whatever it is, maybe we should be riding the hot teams and fading the cold. I'm Minty Bets, and this has been The Mint.
