Best Twitter reactions from Washington’s Week 6 loss to Chiefs

The Washington Football Team fell to 2-4 on the season after Sunday’s 31-13 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. While many were expecting a shootout, Washington’s offense had other plans, managing just 276 total yards against a team that was allowing over 430 yards per game.

Meanwhile, Washington’s defense only allowed 499 yards. Yes, it’s a joke, but the defense did play better — at least in the first 30 minutes. Then, Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes took over in the second half as the Chiefs outscored Washington 21-0.

As you would expect, Twitter was a wild place on Sunday afternoon for Washington fans. There were plenty of pleasantries for the defense, especially in the secondary, but Washington fans were also disgusted with the offense — and rightfully so.

On offense, some blamed quarterback Taylor Heinicke, while others blamed offensive coordinator Scott Turner.
