Will Benson's leadoff home run the only offense for Clippers in 8-1 loss

Wednesday's game: Iowa 8, Columbus 1

Recap: Iowa third baseman Robel Garcia remained hot with a home run and three RBIs as the Cubs ended Columbus' seven-game win streak. Will Benson homered for the Clippers in the game's first at-bat. That wasn't enough to prevent Tobias Myers' record from dropping to 1-4.

Of note: Despite Wednesday's loss, Columbus still has a winning record (13-12) when giving up four or more runs in a game.
