Bengals continue to claw up popular NFL power rankings. See where they rank in Week 16

The Cincinnati Bengals triumphed Saturday with an overtime win against the Minnesota Vikings, marking the team's third straight win with starting quarterback Jake Browning.

The Bengals (8-6) travel this week for a rematch against the Pittsburgh Steelers (7-7). Cincinnati is the No. 6 seed in the AFC, according to the NFL playoff picture.

USA TODAY NFL power rankings: No. 12 (🔺2)

USA TODAY bumped the Bengals up two spots this week. The outlet also claimed offensive coordinator Brian Callahan should be a contender for a 2024 NFL head coaching job.

ESPN NFL power rankings: No. 10 (🔺3)

ESPN writer Ben Baby put Cincinnati at No. 10 this week, up three spots from last week's No. 13, focusing on the team's penchant for timely turnovers. The Bengals defense has a league-high seven turnovers within its own 25-yard line, according to ESPN Stats & Information, Baby writes.

The Bengals stayed at No. 10 on Yahoo's NFL power rankings.

"If Browning leads the Bengals to the playoffs, he might be the best story of this entire NFL season," NFL and betting writer Frank Schwab writes.

Sports Illustrated NFL power rankings: No. 11 (🔺1)

The Bengals hopped up one place on Sports Illustrated's NFL power rankings this week.

"This team just plays hard no matter what, and they’re going to ruin a higher-seeded team’s playoff run," the outlet's Conor Orr writes.

NFL power rankings: No. 12 (🔺1)

The NFL called Tee Higgins' game-tying touchdownCatch of the Year candidate. Browning finished Saturday's game with 324 passing yards, the league noted. The NFL bumped the Bengals up one notch this week and said they are "reinventing winning through adversity."
