Tuesday's results

CHATHAM GLENWOOD 10, JACKSONVILLE 0 (5 innings): At Jacksonville, Joe Anderson and Mason Marshall each had a double with two RBIs to record a Central State Eight Conference win.

Krayton Reincke and Rigley Hickman each scored twice for the Titans. Cru Erickson delivered a hit with an RBI and run.

Cameron Appenzeller struck out 12 in a complete game. He surrendered just two hits and a walk.

Nolan Peters and Anderson Decker each had a hit for Jacksonville.

SPRINGFIELD HIGH 11, LINCOLN 1 (6 innings): At Robin Roberts Stadium, Sam Hartl delivered a two-RBI triple and went 4-for-4 with five RBIs and a run en route to a Central State Eight Conference win.

Enrico Veach had a double and wound up with three runs. Ethan Rutter had a hit, three walks and two runs.

Seth Impson struck out four in four innings. He gave up three hits, one walk and no runs.

Michael Lucas had two hits with a triple and run for Lincoln.

ROCHESTER 15, LANPHIER 0 (4 innings): At Rochester, Adan Nieves homered, doubled and finished 3-for-3 with four RBIs and two runs in the Central State Eight Conference rout.

Tyson Binion had a triple with two runs while Jett Myren had a double with two RBIs and two runs.

Breck Calvert struck out six with three walks and no hits in three innings.

JACKSONVILLE ROUTT 14, LIBERTY 1 (6 innings): At Liberty, Routt rolled up 14 hits and put an end to the game with eight runs in the sixth inning.

Nolan Turner led the Rockets with three hits, including two doubles, and drove in two runs. Jace Lautemann (two RBIs) and Bryson Mossman had two hits apiece and AJ Charpentier finished with two RBIs.

Isaac Long delivered a two-run home run in the sixth and he walked three times. Eli Olson was the winning pitcher, striking out five, walking two and giving up two hits and two walks in 2 1/3 innings.

MOUNT PULASKI 27, CERRO GORDO/BEMENT 3 (3 innings): At Cerro Gordo, the unbeaten Hilltoppers walked 17 times and finished with six extra base hits in the nonconference win.

Liam Smith homered twice, hitting a three-run homer and a solo shot to finish with four RBIs. Landon Smith, who stole four bases, homered and went 2-for-3 with four runs scored and three RBIs.

Chance Payne (2-for-3, three runs) had three RBIs as did winning pitcher Eric Cooper, who hit a three-run home run. Franklin Wade drove in four runs going 2-for-3 with two runs as Mount Pulaski improved to 10-0.

ATHENS 6, PETERSBURG PORTA 1: At Athens, Kyle Weatherford pitched a complete game and went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs to lead the Warriors to a Sangamo Conference win.

Weatherford fanned 12, walked one and the one PORTA run was unearned. Davis Ishmael finished 3-for-4 with three runs and two RBIs. His first inning triple gave Athens a 1-0 lead and Ishmael added an RBI double in the second.

Carson Moscardelli (2-for-3) also drove in a run with a double and Cody Tobias added two doubles and two runs in the leadoff spot.

NEW BERLIN 11, AUBURN 2: At New Berlin, pitcher Reid Hepperly went six innings, and he swatted a home run as the Pretzels recorded a victory.

New Berlin scored four runs in the first, three in the third and four in the fifth. Bryce Pridemore had a two-run double in the first and Hepperly hit a three-run homer in the third. Gannon Dodd had a two-run single and scored on a wild pitch in the Pretzels’ four-run fifth.

Hepperly struck out 10, walked four and gave up three hits and two runs (one earned) in six innings. Nolan Hart collected two hits, an RBI and scored twice for New Berlin (9-5).

MAROA-FORSYTH 10, PLEASANT PLAINS 2: At Plains, Connor Kelly flourished on the mound for a Sangamo Conference win.

He tossed a complete game and gave up two runs on six hits and no walks with five strikeouts. Mitch Williams led the Trojans offense with three hits, two RBIs and two runs. Tate Brandenburg had two hits and four RBIs.

Charlie Severino homered and finished with two RBIs for Plains.

HAVANA 8, BEARDSTOWN 6: At Havana, the host Ducks rallied with eight runs after the first two innings en route to a nonconference win.

Kaden Olson and Thurston Sisson each scored twice while McGwire Martindale had a double with an RBI and run.

Jayden Weaver earned the win in five innings. He gave up one run on two hits and two walks. Havana surged ahead with four runs in the fifth.

NORTH MAC 12, HILLSBORO 2 (5 innings): At Virden, Quinn Morrow ushered a double and totaled five RBIs in the South Central Conference win.

Andrew Scroggins had a two-run home run and Aiden Hatalla had two hits and two runs.

Morrow picked up the win in five innings. He gave up two runs on one hit and five walks with three strikeouts.

WILLIAMVILLE 18, STANFORD OLYMPIA 3 (4 innings): At Williamsville, Brayden Saling and Kyle Carter shined at the top of the order.

Carter finished 3-for-3 with three RBIs and three runs while Saling went 2-for-2 with a double and two walks. The latter ended with two RBIs and three runs.

Brecken Thomas and Easton Blankenship also contributed two hits apiece. Saling got the win in three innings. He gave up two runs on five hits and one walk.

GREENVILLE 18, CARLINVILLE 0 (4 innings): At Carlinville, the Cavaliers didn’t record a hit and committed five errors in a South Central Conference loss.

Greenville’s Drake Curry threw the no-hitter, striking out four and walking none. Nick Grull went 3-for-4 with a double and scored three runs with four RBIs.

GILLESPIE 6, VANDALIA 4: At Gillespie, the Miners notched three runs in the third inning to cap a South Central Conference victory.

Gillespie scored on an error and Tristen Wargo hit a sacrifice fly in the third. Jesse Berry then drove in a run with a sac fly, giving the Miners a 6-1 lead.

Luke Schuckenbrock pitched 6 1/3 innings to earn the win on the mound. Wargo got the final two outs in relief.

STAUNTON 8, PANA 6: At Staunton, the host Bulldogs surged to a South Central Conference win with four runs in the sixth inning to break from a 4-4 tie.

Matthew Overby provided the go-ahead RBI single. He finished with two hits and got the win on the mound in six innings. He gave up four unearned runs on four hits and six walks.

Dillon Pritchett homered and paced the offense with two hits, three RBIs and two runs. Ethan Sharp had three hits and two runs at the bottom of the order. Carter Legendre and Drake Billings supplied two hits apiece.

Ryan Karbach amassed three hits in the leadoff spot for Pana, including a double.

PAWNEE 11, RAYMOND LINCOLNWOOD 3: At Raymond, Carson Wort went 3-for-3 with two RBIs and three runs for an MSM Conference win.

Nick Rise led off for PHS and finished with two hits and two runs. Jacob Butler and Trenton Hull each scored twice as well. Tyler Surber tallied the win in six innings. He gave up two earned runs on six hits and two walks with six strikeouts.

Mason Tryon and Jonah Elvidge each contributed two hits for the Lancers. Drew Gilpin had a hit and two RBIs.

RIVERTON 12, MASON CITY ILLINI CENTRAL 2 (5 innings): At Riverton, the Hawks scored six in the first and five in the fifth inning to tally a win.

Ethen Bates went 2-for-4 with a double and drove in three runs for Riverton. Bradley Armstrong and Julian Rice (one RBI) had two hits apiece and combined to score five runs in the top of the order.

Riverton starter Brett Clyne yielded four hits and two earned runs with five strikeouts and one walk.

WINDSOR/STEWARDSON-STRASBURG 5, NOKOMIS 3: At Windsor, Connor Manhart’s two-run single for Windsor broke a 3-3 tie in the bottom of the sixth inning and the Hatchets notched a victory.

Nokomis’ Izaak Doyen belted a two-run home run that had tied the game in the top-half of the sixth. Kannon Jonas had an RBI sacrifice fly in the second for Nokomis’ other run.

Kendall Morris threw six innings and was the winning pitcher. Morris struck out 13, walked three and gave up four Nokomis hits.

WINCHESTER WEST CENTRAL 11, RUSHVILLE-INDUSTRY 1 (5 innings): At Rushville, Dalton Hutton homered twice and finished with three RBIs and three runs. Cameron Sievers provided three hits and three runs in the win.

Jordan McGinnis and Jagger Bartlett had two hits apiece for Rushville.

Monday's results

PLEASANT PLAINS 11, SOUTHEAST 6: At Southeast, Cooper Schallenberg went 3-for-5 with two RBIs and two runs in the nonconference win.

Drew Green had a double with three RBIs while Charlie Severino had a hit and two RBIs.

Tim Herrington led the Spartans with three hits. Jaxon Cook had two hits and two RBIs.

JACKSONVILLE 9, GRANITE CITY 6: At Granite City, Cody Fry and Brandon Sims each provided two hits and three RBIs in the nonconference win.

Sims had two doubles, to go along with three runs. Hayden Hicks scored twice. Nolan Peters tallied the win in 3 1/3 innings with three strikeouts and four walks allowed.

JACKSONVILLE ROUTT 15, GREENFIELD/NORTHWESTERN 4 (5 innings): At Jacksonville, Brady Turner mustered two hits with three RBIs and a run in the win.

He also took the win on the mound. He struck out seven and gave up three earned runs on five hits and two walks. Nolan Turner had a hit with two RBIs and two runs.

Bryson Mossman, Conrad Charpentier, Isaac Long and Jace Lautemann each scored twice.

ATHENS 2, DELAVAN 1: At Athens, Cody Tobias earned the win in a complete-game victory. He struck out five and allowed one run on six hits and one walk.

Kyle Weatherford scored the go-ahead run in the sixth inning on an error.

RAYMOND LINCOLNWOOD 10, VANDALIA 5: At Raymond, Drew Gilpin contributed two hits and three RBIs in the nonconference win.

He also tossed 5 2/3 innings. He gave up three runs on seven hits and one walk with four strikeouts. Jonah Elvidge had two hits with two RBIs and two runs.

▶ STANFORD OLYMPIA 9, NEW BERLIN 8: At Stanford, Reid Hepperly garnered three hits, one RBI and one run, including two doubles in the Sangamo Conference loss.

Wesley Preckwinkle chipped in two hits, one RBI and two runs while Gannon Dodd had a hit, two RBIs and a run for the Pretzels.

Cooper Kleinschmidt led Olympia with three hits while Caden Kindred had two hits and two RBIs. Owen Alford had a hit, two RBIs and two runs.

PETERSBURG PORTA 8, MANITO MIDWEST CENTRAL 2: At Manito, Jett Karrick allowed one earned run on seven hits and two walks in a complete-game victory. He struck out five.

Karrick also delivered two hits and three RBIs while Barrett Morse had a hit with one RBI and two runs. Levi Hoagland had a triple with two RBIs.

QUINCY NOTRE DAME 5, RUSHVILLE-INDUSTRY 4: At Quincy, the host Raiders rallied with three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to secure the nonconference win.

Abram Wiewel went 4-for-4 with a double and run scored.

Rylan Reimolds led the Rockets with two hits at the bottom of the order, including a triple.
