Awards presented for boys and girls basketball, cheerleading and one-act play
Nineteen students received special awards during the Great Plains Winter Awards Ceremony on Sunday.
Awards were presented for boys and girls basketball, cheerleading and one-act play.
Boys basketball award winners include Alex Heil, MVP and captain; Myles York, Panther Award and captain; Martin Krenz, Panther Award; Brody Scharlemann, Defensive Player of the Year; Holden Karli, Newcomer; Justin Tucker, Most Improved (in season) and Landon Czerwan and Hayden Karli, Most Improved (sincce last season).
Girls basketball award winners include Halle Bauer, MVP and captain: Olivia Holmen, Panther Award and captain; Abby Kjenstad, Offensive Player of the Year; Katherine Prahl, Defensive Player of the Year; Madeline Prahl, Most Improved; Esta Cameron, 2x4 Award; and Jolie Lien, Newcomer.
Teresa Davies (MVP) and Lydia Wolfe (Panther Award) were honored for cheerleading.
Greyson Leins earned MVP honors and Sebastian Rosenthal the Panther Award for the One-Act Play.
