Auburn to compete in 2023 Legends Classis
Auburn is returning to Brooklyn, New York for the 2023 Legends Classic.
The Tigers will be competing with Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, and St. Bonaventure. The event will take place from Nov. 16-17, 2023, and will be in the Barclays Center.
Auburn is 2-2 all-time against Oklahoma State but lost their most recent matchup in the 2015 season 74-63 in Neville Arena. They are 0-1 against St, Bonaventure losing 77-73 in 1967. They have not faced the Irish.
Auburn won the event in 2019, taking down New Mexico and Richmond. The Tigers are not the only program making a return, Notre Dame won the event in 2016, and Oklahoma State finished 3rd in 2017. This will be St. Bonaventure’s first time in the event.
Tickets and a schedule will be announced at a later date. This will be the 17th edition of the event.
