Armando Bacot teams up with Frosted Flakes Mission Tiger to raise money

Armando Bacot has added another deal to his NIL portfolio and for the latest venture, he’s teaming up with Frosted Flakes to give back to the public.

Bacot joined the Frosted Flakes Mission Tiger and made an appearance at a Food Lion store in Pittsboro, North Carolina. The Tar Heels’s standout surprised fans, played family-friendly games, and even made a donation to a local middle school.

“Basically what we are doing is giving back to middle schools and bringing fun back to middle school sports,” Bacot said on the partnership. “Right now, it’s kind of been hard for funding with youth sports. What we are trying to do is give back.”

For Bacot, having the chance to give back to youth sports is important to him.

“There’s a lot of importance in it. Youth sports, like I was saying earlier, being in middle school I remember those were some of my most fun times, playing basketball because it was in its purest form. No pressure or anything. It allowed me to gain a lot of discipline and work with others. It also helped me extend my basketball game. It’s one of those things that’s definitely important to me.

Growing up, Bacot played youth sports and was active not only in basketball but other sports as well including football. So joining the Frosted Flakes Mission Tiger program to not only help out there but also help out the area was important for him.

Bacot has been very active in the NIL scene over the past few years. But this one is standing out to him.

“Oh, definitely. This is my favorite one,” Bacot said. “Just being able to give back to the community, that’s what it’s all about. Obviously, it’s great when I do other stuff but giving back is what NIL is all about. I couldn’t be more fortunate to do it.

While Bacot will continue to make headlines on the court with his play, what he does off the court is important to him as well. He knows what Chapel Hill has given to him in the four years he’s been there so far.

And the importance of giving back is on his mind.

“It’s great, just because Chapel Hill has given so much to me,” Bacot said. “For me to be able to give back to them, that’s what it’s all about.”
