Arizona Diamondbacks in MLB Playoffs: How to purchase potential postseason game tickets
There are still a lot of "ifs" surrounding the Arizona Diamondbacks and the 2023 MLB Playoffs, including if the team will make the 2023 postseason and if they will host any games at Chase Field.
But that hasn't stopped the team from preparing to do so.
Tickets for potential Diamondbacks postseason home games for the National League Division Series (NLDS) and the National League Championship Series (NLCS) will go on sale Thursday, Sept. 28 at 9 a.m.
Fans can purchase tickets online at dbacks.com/postseason, at the Chase Field Box Office, or by calling 602-462-4600.
The Diamondbacks are currently five games behind the Philadelphia Phillies for the No. 1 NL wild-card berth, with six games remaining, meaning that it is unlikely that the team would host wild-card games, if it makes the postseason.

The No. 1 wild card team hosts the No. 2 wild card team in the wild-card round of the MLB playoffs, which is a three-game series.
The NL division winner with the third-best record hosts the No. 3 wild card team in the other wild card series.
The two division winners with the best records receive byes to the NLDS round.
Arizona is currently tied with the Chicago Cubs for the second wild card berth, making it likely that the team would not host a playoff game until the third game of the NLDS, were the Diamondbacks to get there,

The Diamondbacks conclude their regular season with a 3-game series beginning Tuesday at the Chicago White Sox and then a three-game series against the Houston Astros at Chase Field Sept. 29-Oct.1.
