Now that the 2016 NFL Draft is over, this week has seen the coaching staff working alongside the new acquisitions who will soon be in a position to wear Arizona Cardinals red.

Early cuts to the Cardinals 2016 roster: Last week, the Arizona Cardinals started trimming their roster, trying to get it down to 90 players. Those cut on Wednesday, May 4th were Joel Wilkinson, Kevin White, Tyrequek Zimmerman, and Valeran Ume-Ezeoke. With John Fullington being cut later in the week, the Cardinals roster is now down to the 90 player limit prior to the rookie signings. READ

Arizona Cardinals rookie minicamp: The Arizona Cardinals got a good look at their draft picks and undrafted rookies during their three day rookie minicamp this past weekend…Long snapper prospects Daniel Dillon and Kameron Canaday, both undrafted rookie free agents, started their journey to see which of them would be the starting long snapper for the Cardinals once the regular season starts. Neither missed a snap on the opening day of the minicamp, but the pressure will come when they are asked to snap under the lights and in front of about 80,000 fans. READ

Robert Nkemdiche: Arizona Cardinals Draft pick: Nkemdiche attended the University of Mississippi after being rated the number one defensive end in the nation coming out of high school. In 2013,as a freshman, he was named First team All America by Athlon and the College Football News. READ

Running back turned cornerback drafted by the Arizona Cardinals: As a college freshman, Williams played the running back position for University of Oklahoma. He was ranked as the number five running back in the nation by ESPN heading into his freshman year. Due to fumbling issues in practice, we was used sparingly during the first part of the season. When starting running back Dominique Whaley was injured, Williams got the chance to play, and he made the most of it. READ
