Archies new all-time leader: Vote for the High School Girls Hockey Player of the Week

Pembroke High's Maria Cantino and Ella Skieber have been voted the High School Girls Hockey Players of the Week.

The Titan duo combined to receive over 43,000 votes to earn the honor. Both girls had two-goal games in a 7-2 victory over Quincy/North Quincy.

And this week's candidates are...

Caroline Doherty, Jr., Hingham: Doherty tallied a hat trick in a 3-0 victory over Whitman-Hanson/Silver Lake.

Caroline Batchelder, Jr., Archbishop Williams: Batchelder scored two goals in a 4-1 win over Pope Francis. In that victory, she became the Bishops all-time leading goal scorer with 56.

Kate Sullivan, Jr., Thayer Academy: Sullivan tallied a hat trick in a 4-2 win over St. Mark's.

Lila Chamoun, Sr., Milton: Chamoun recorded 31 saves in a 1-0 win over Marshfield.

Ella Cummings, Fr., Stoughton: Cummings scored two goals in a loss to Hanover.

Allie Condon + Vanessa Federico, Hanover: Condon scored a hat trick and Federico had four points (goal, three assists) in a win over Stoughton.

Addy Cagan, Soph., Algonquin: The goalie Cagan made 22 saves as the Titans (11-6-1) defeated Shrewsbury on Wednesday, 4-1.

Julia Flynn, Jr., Franklin: The captain netted a hat trick in a 4-0 win over Latin Academy/Fontbonne on Wednesday, and followed that up with a goal in a 3-1 victory over Leominster on Saturday.

Sophia Luoni, Fr., Natick: The goalie Luoni made 28 saves in her fifth shutout of the season for the Redhawks (12-6-1) in a 3-0 win over Wellesley on Wednesday.

Molly Ross, Sr., Wayland/Weston: Ross notched a hat trick and added an assist in a 6-4 win over the Newton co-op Sunday for W/W (8-10-1).
