Alabama high school football: Vote for Gadsden Times Athlete of the Week for Oct. 6
It's time to vote for the Gadsden area athlete of the week.
The nominees come from the top performers of the week before, and can come from any sport at the 27 schools in the Gadsden Times coverage zone.
Carson Tittle won last week's vote with almost 50% of the vote after a four touchdown performance. He beat out Ethan Patterson setting a personal best in the five-kilometer, who earned 33% of the vote. Logan Anderson returns to the nominee list after finishing in third last week.
Voting will last through Thursday at noon CT.
Gadsden Times Area athletes of the week nominees
Carlos Mann, Geraldine - 153 yards rushing, 4 TDs, one receiving TD
Logan Anderson, Fyffe - 185 rushing yards and 5 TDs
Trevor Pike, Piedmont - 180 total yards, 3 TDs (80-yard kickoff return)
Zach Anderson, Sylvania - 225 total yards, 3 TDs (INT, Punt, rush)
Blaze Gerhart, Sardis - 202 rushing yards, 2 TDs
Rylin St. Clair - 186 assists this week to surpass 2,000 in her career
