Alabama football adds Jeremiah Beaman, 4-star DL recruit, to 2024 class

Alabama football in-state class of 2024 target Jeremiah Beaman committed to the Crimson Tide on Sunday over Auburn, Tennessee, Georgia, Clemson, Texas, Clemson, Florida, Florida State and Ole Miss.

Beaman, the No. 107 recruit in the nation, according to the 247SportsComposite, is the first defensive line and third defensive commit of the class. The 6-foot-4, 265-pound prospect is Alabama's seventh commit and first addition of May.

The Parker recruit took trips to Auburn, Georgia, Alabama, Georgia Tech and Clemson this year.

The No. 16 class is headlined by the nation's No. 11 recruit and No. 2 quarterback, Julian Sayin from the San Diego area. Beaman finished his junior season with 10 sacks and three interceptions. He is the No. 7 recruit in Alabama and made the 2023 ASWA second-team all-state team.

Alabama has just seven commits ahead of a busy summer, where the Tide landed the majority of their No. 1-ranked 2023 class. Senior recruits will soon begin taking official visits, and Alabama will host more recruits on camps.

Alabama has commits from in-state five-star athlete Jaylen Mbakwe, five-star Foley receiver Perry Thompson and Mobile Christian four-star edge Sterling Dixon.

The Crimson Tide have been heavily recruiting four-star Chilton County athlete and Georgia commit Demarcus Riddick, the nation's No. 42 athlete. Riddick committed to Georgia in Nov. 2022. Alabama offered Riddick in January and hosted during the spring A-Day game.
