Alabama basketball looks to score a victory over South Alabama in the third game of the season for the Crimson Tide.
Alabama (2-0) has scored more than 100 points in both of its first two games this season and will look to extend that to a third consecutive game against the Jaguars (1-1).
Grant Nelson and Aaron Estrada have both been a big key in the early offensive success. Both transfer additions have averaged more than 20 points per game and rank in the top three of the SEC in that category after the first week of the season.
Improving defense will be the focus for the whole team. Coach Nate Oats continues to emphasize the importance of playing well on the defensive end of the floor. The message has been simple: Play defense or don't play.
"We've got a lot of good offensive options," Oats said Monday. "You've got to bring it on the defensive end to play."
