Alabama baseball: How to watch season-opening series on TV, streaming

Alabama baseball opens the 2024 season this weekend with a series against Manhattan College.

The series will mark the first all-time meeting between the No. 17 Crimson Tide and the Jaspers. It will also mark the beginning of a new era for Alabama, as coach Rob Vaughn will make his Crimson Tide debut. The former Maryland head coach was tabbed as the replacement for Brad Bohannon, who was fired last season amid a gambling scandal.

Opening Weekend will also feature a variety of promotions at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. The season opener on Friday, Feb. 16 will have Opening Day t-shirts and "Welcome, Coach Vaughn" buttons available. On Saturday, fans who attend the Alabama basketball game that morning (11 a.m. at Coleman Coliseum) will be able to present their basketball tickets for free admission. Sunday will feature the same promotion for fans with tickets to the Alabama women's basketball game that day (2 p.m.).

Where to stream Alabama baseball vs. Manhattan

  • Streaming: SEC Network+

All three games of the series will air on SEC Network+, a complementary extension of the SEC Network TV channel. Unlike the main TV channel, SEC Network+ is only available through the ESPN app, but it does not require an ESPN+ subscription and is included with all cable and satellite packages that carry SEC Network.

What times are Alabama baseball's games vs. Manhattan?

  • Game 1: Friday, Feb. 16 at 4 p.m. CT

  • Game 2: Saturday, Feb. 17 at 2 p.m. CT

  • Game 3: Sunday, Feb. 18 at 1 p.m. CT

The first game on Friday is scheduled for a 4 p.m. CT first pitch. Game 2 on Saturday will start at 2 p.m. CT, and the final game will be at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
