Al Jefferson scores 22, Bobcats easily get past Nuggets

The Charlotte Bobcats were on fire from the field in this one, going 43-80 (53.8%), to easily get by the Denver Nuggets, 110-82. This is the third consecutive victory for Charlotte (9-19).

Al Jefferson put up 22 points on 10-13 shooting, in what was an efficient performance. Other top contributors for Charlotte included Kemba Walker with 18 points and nine assists, and P.J. Hairston with 10 points and 10 rebounds. On 8-15 shooting, including 2-3 from behind the arc, Ty Lawson scored 18 points for Denver in the loss.

Along with their eFG% of 58.8%, the Bobcats connected at a rate of 42.1% from 3-point range. On the season, they are 1-0 when they record marks above 55% and 40% in those respective categories. Conversely, the Nuggets are winless (0-4) when allowing their opponents to reach those percentages.

Coming up next, the Bobcats square off against the Milwaukee Bucks, who are 14-14 on the year. The Nuggets meet the Brooklyn Nets, currently 11-15 this season. The Bobcats are 1-0 versus Milwaukee this season.
