Airline, Calvary share top honors on the 2023 Shreveport Times All-City volleyball team
Here’s a look at the Shreveport Times 2023 All-City volleyball team selected in consultation with area volleyball coaches.
The All-City team encompasses volleyball squads competing for Caddo and Bossier Parish high schools.
Player of the Year
Sicily Fontaine
Airline, Sr., Libero
Why selected: The overall MVP of District 1-5A, Fontaine finished with 108 aces, 40 kills, 80 assists and 414 digs in leading the Lady Vikings to an undefeated district title. She will play collegiately at UNC-Pembrooke.

Why selected: Casey led the Lady Cavaliers to the LHSAA Division IV quarterfinals, the third year in a row to advance to the state tournament in the Lafayette’s Cajun Dome. Calvary finished 23-5 on the season.
