Aidan Hutchinson gets first career NFL sack

It took a week, but the former Michigan football star finally got what he’s known for.

The single-season sack leader in Wolverines history wasn’t able to get to the quarterback in Week 1, when the Detroit Lions played the Philadelphia Eagles. However, facing the not-quite-as-mobile Carson Wentz of the Washington Commanders proved to be an easier task than Jalen Hurts.

On the first defensive series for the Lions, the Commanders were facing third-and-4. Considering the lack of offensive moment on the first drive for Detroit, the Lions needed an early stop. And they got it, when Hutchinson got off of two blocks in order to notch his first career NFL sack.
