Alvin Henderson, RB

Elba blasted Charter 70-8 to open the playoffs behind Henderson’s four-touchdown performance. The five-star finished with two punts returned for touchdowns, a kickoff returned for a touchdown and a receiving touchdown. His six carries for 165 yards displayed his elusive speed and footwork with his lone rushing score. Elba faces Millry in the next round.

Joseph Phillips, Ath

BT Washington, 2024

Committed

A captain on this Golden Eagles team, highly touted recruit Phillips does it all on offense and defense. In an opening round victory over American Christian, the Golden Eagles held American Christian to six points as Phillips finished with a fumble recovery.

Towns McGough, K

Auburn High, 2024

Uncommitted (Auburn Target)

Sporting the Auburn Tigers towel in a 27-17 playoff-opening win over Baker, McGough drilled two field goals from 46 and 52 yards to help secure the victory. Now with a rematch set up in the second round with Central-Phenix, he’s gonna play a huge role for his team.

Trent Seaborn, QB

Thompson, 2027

Uncommitted (Auburn Target)

The freshman sensation at the state’s top program continues to turn heads around the state. Seaborn completed 25-of-29 passes for 343 yards and three touchdowns in the first half against Florence in the playoffs. His one rushing score added on to his stellar night. Thompson will battle Vestavia in the second round.
