Aaron Rodgers' potential new home comes with something you can’t get in Green Bay: a panoramic view of the New York City skyline.

After being traded to the New York Jets in April, the former Green Bay Packers quarterback has reportedly purchased a newly built $9.5 million house in the Montclair area of New Jersey, according to a story first reported by the Daily Mail and then the New York Post.

The eight-bedroom, 10-bathroom home has a sleek, modern design with expansive walls of windows throughout and an interior all in white. It features a gourmet kitchen, mezzanine, wine cellar, fitness room, media room, home office and three-car garage with a charging station.

The home is located in an area of New Jersey at the foot of the First Watchung Mountain and known for a “diverse population, grand old homes, proximity to New York City and its thriving arts community,” according to the township of Montclair website.

“Sources have indicated for several months that Rodgers purchased this home in question — however, sale records have yet to close, let alone reveal the identity of the buyer,” according to the New York Post. The listing through the Stanton Company shows it was sold June 29. The Post reports the person made the purchase under an LLC.

The home is about 10 miles from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, where the Jets play, and a half-hour drive from the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center in Florham Park, New Jersey.

Rodgers’ home in Hobart during his time with the Packers has not yet been listed for sale. According to the Post, Rodgers also owns homes in Malibu and his hometown of Chico, both in California, as well as Tennessee and Texas. He sold a $5.13 million residence in Del Mar, California, in 2021.
