A 6-point hockey game and more: Who is the H.S. Athlete of the Week for Jan. 22-28?

TAUNTON— Another week of the winter high school sports season has come and gone in the Greater Taunton area.

Last week, Bristol Aggie/Dighton-Rehoboth wrestling scored a key Mayflower Athletic Conference win over Bristol-Plymouth in an all-local affair while Southeastern/Bristol-Plymouth continued their winning streak and earned at least a share of the MAC title. Five Taunton wrestlers were crowned Hockomock champions and Taunton girls basketball continued to push for their first ever Hockomock title.

Now is your chance to choose the Taunton Daily Gazette Athlete of the Week for Jan. 22-28, with polls open through noon Sunday. Votes are limited to one per device per hour.
