6 fantasy football waiver wire targets ahead of Week 13

Fantasy football has hit crunch time of the regular season and now, more than ever, a waiver pickup could make all the difference for your team.

Here are six wavier wire claims to make in fantasy football ahead of Week 13:

QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, Dolphins

Tua Tagovailoa is going to miss a few weeks with his thumb issue so it's Ryan Fitzpatrick time again for the Dolphins. Well, it was last week, too. He had 257 passing yards and two scores last week against the Jets, just a fairly solid outing that anyone could use. He has a similar matchup against a lost team in Week 13 as well against the Bengals. Percent owned in ESPN fantasy leagues: 21.5%

RB Frank Gore, Jets

The Jets aren't going anywhere, but Frank Gore is. In a pinch at running back? At minimum, he's getting touches. He had 18 carries last week while no one else had more than two. Percent owned in ESPN fantasy leagues: 18.9%

WR Gabriel Davis, Bills

Gabriel Davis only had three catches last week, but cashed them in for 79 yards and had a touchdown. He's also playing in John Brown's full role as Buffalo's No. 2 wide receiver while Brown is out on injured reserve. Percent owned in ESPN fantast leagues: 1.1%

RB Devontae Booker, Raiders

Devontae Booker probably has a good chance to be a quick fix for Week 13. No. 1 running back Josh Jacobs has an ankle sprain and might be able to play next weekend, but the Raiders face the Jets. Why risk him in a game like that when you have Booker, who had 81 yards and two touchdowns last week? Percent owned in ESPN fantasy leagues: 5.3%

WR Keke Coutee, Texans

The Texans just continue to lose playmakers. Will Fueller was suspended for the rest of the year, Randell Cobb is on IR, and Kenny Stills was released. Easy to see that Coutee has shot up the depth chart. Percent owned in ESPN fantasy leagues: 0.3%

RB Brian Hill, Falcons

A situation to monitor. Brian Hill had a productive day without Todd Gurley in the Falcons' lineup last week. He had 55 rushing yards last week in a blowout vs. the Raiders. Ito Smith had more (65), but a lot of those were in garbage time so Hill could be RB1 status for another week. Percent owned in ESPN fantasy leagues: 36.3%
