With no football this Sunday and the 2024 Super Bowl just one week away, it's a good time to start researching prop bets for this year's big game. Thanks to BetMGM Sportsbook, we know the most popular player prop bets so far for this year's Super Bowl.

As the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs prepare for a rematch of their Super Bowl clash four years ago, a few things are worth noting when preparing to bet on player props.

First, both teams finished as two of the top 10 defenses in yards allowed during the regular season. Second, the Chiefs finished in the top five in passing yards allowed per game but in the bottom half of the NFL in rushing yards allowed. Third, the 49ers held opponents to the third-fewest rushing yards per game but were outside the top 10 in passing yards allowed.

Here are the most bet tickets for the Super Bowl as of Tuesday, according to BetMGM.

Top prop bets for 2024 Super Bowl

Brock Purdy over 12.5 rushing yards (-135)

According to BetMGM, 99% of money was on this over when the line was still at 11.5. Purdy has averaged 6.28 rushing yards per game in 25 regular season games, but he has an average of 17.2 rushing yards per game in five postseason starts. In the NFC championship game, the 49ers' quarterback rushed for 48 yards, the second-highest total of his career in any game.

Isiah Pacheco over 67.5 rushing yards (-115)

Pacheco has rushed for 68 yards or more in all but one of his six career postseason games. He's reached that rushing yards total in 10 of his 31 regular season games over two years in the NFL. In the AFC championship game, Pacheco had 68 yards against the Ravens.

Travis Kelce over 70.5 receiving yards

The Chiefs' tight end has come to life in the playoffs after a slow back half of the regular season. Kelce averaged 65.6 receiving yards per game in the regular season, his lowest mark since 2015. Since the postseason began, he is averaging more than 87 receiving yards per game.

Christian McCaffrey over 89.5 rushing yards

McCaffrey has been one of the 49ers' top assets on offense all season with an average of 91.2 rushing yards per game in a season that earned him his second, first-team All-Pro nod. The Stanford product has over 90 rushing yards in both of San Francisco's playoff games this season.

Travis Kelce over 6.5 receptions

BetMGM says that 99% of the money is on the over for this prop. Kelce averaged 6.2 receptions per game in the regular season but has 23 receptions in the Chiefs' three playoff games, or roughly 7.67 per game. Taylor Swift's boyfriend had 11 catches in Kansas City's AFC championship game victory over the Ravens.
