49ers to work out Lavelle Hawkins
The San Francisco 49ers are slated to work out former New England Patriots and Tennessee Titans wide receiver Lavelle Hawkins this week, according to Comcast Sportsnet Bay Area.
He was cut by New England this week.
Hawkins has 71 career receptions for 771 yards and one touchdown.
It wasn't a fit for him in New England after being signed this offseason following five seasons in Tennessee.
The 49ers have also looked at Austin Collie and Laurent Robinson this week.
