Hoggard's Hudson Wilharm named StarNews Athlete of the Week
Bringing in over 50% of this week's fan vote, Hoggard football player Hudson Wilharm is the StarNews Athlete of the Week.
Wilharm was nominated for his big performance in Round 2 of the NCHSAA playoffs, throwing for four touchdowns after sitting out the previous game due to a finger injury.
The senior quarterback has completed 147-of-212 passes for 2,027 yards and 23 touchdowns this season. Wilharm will get another chance to show off his passing skills as Hoggard hosts Laney in Round 3 of the NCHSAA playoffs this Friday.
