4-star DL Jeremiah Beaman sets visit for A-Day
Auburn is looking to sign a top 10 recruiting class in the 2024 cycle and the core of that class will be made of in-state players. One of the top players from Alabama is four-star defensive lineman Jeremiah Benson.
The 6-foot-4, 265-pounder has not been back to campus since Hugh Freeze was hired but he is hoping to change that with a visit for Auburn’s A-Day game on April 8, according to Cole Pinkston of Auburn Live.
Beaman is the No. 93 overall player and No. 12 defensive lineman in the 247Sports Composite ranking. The Birmingham native is also the No. 5 player from Alabama.
In nine games last season, he made 50 tackles, 10.0 tackles for loss, 10.0 sacks, and three interceptions for Parker High School.
While he was offered under the previous staff, defensive line coach Jeremy Garrett is his primary recruiter and has Auburn firmly in the mix for the talented defender.
