The Utah Jazz beat the Memphis Grizzlies, 133-109, on Wednesday night at the Delta Center.
Here are three keys that contributed to the Jazz’s victory:
The basket was the size of the ocean for the Jazz on Wednesday. On 43 3-point attempts the Jazz made good on 22 (51.2%). Lauri Markkanen, Jordan Clarkson and Collin Sexton all hit at least four 3-pointers.
The efficient scoring night, from everywhere on the court, led to five players finishing with double-digits in points (Markkanen, Clarkson, Sexton, Kelly Olynyk, John Collins) and every player who got in the game scoring at least three points.
The Jazz built their lead early against the Grizzlies, going into halftime with a 33-point advantage, which gave the Jazz’s starters a chance to rest through most of the fourth quarter — a welcomed development on the first night of a back-to-back set.
After two games of not reaching double-digits in points and struggling to hit shots he normally does, Jordan Clarkson rebounded with his best game of the 2023-24 season. He finished the night with 20 points on 8-of-13 shooting, including going 4-of-6 from deep, to go with six rebounds, five assists and two steals.
