3 defensive starters questionable for Seahawks in Week 11 vs. Cardinals

The Seattle Seahawks are the Arizona Cardinals’ Week 11 opponent. They released their final injury report of the week. No one was ruled out, although running back Chris Carson, currently designated to return from injured reserve, will return to IR with season-ending neck surgery.

However, five players on the Seahawks, including three defensive starters, are questionable for the game.

Questionable to play

S Jamal Adams (groin), LB Cody Barton (quad), DE Kerry Hyder (calf), T Jamarco Jones (back), CB D.J. Reed (groin, knee)

Adam and Reed, both starters in the secondary, went backward in terms of progress with injuries. Adams was not on the injury report Wednesday, then he was limited Thursday and did not practice Friday.

Reed was listed all week and declined each day. He was a full participant Wednesday, limited Thursday and did not practice Friday.

Hyder, a starting defensive end, was limited Friday after sitting out Wednesday and Thursday.

Barton was limited all week and Jones did not practice at all.

Players with no injury designation

LT Duane Brown (hip), RB Alex Collins (groin), TE Gerald Everett (groin), G Damien Lewis (shoulder, hip), WR DK Metcalf (foot), S Ryan Neal (concussion), T Brandon Shell (shoulder)

Brown was limited Thursday and Friday after missing Wednesday. Collins was limited Wednesday, sat out Thursday but was a full participant Friday.

Everett returned to full participation Friday after sitting out the first two days of practice.

Lewis was a full participant Friday after being limited Thursday.

Metcalf’s injury is interesting. He was out Wednesday, practiced fully Thursday and then was limited Friday.

Neal and Shell were full participants Thursday and Friday after getting limited reps on Wednesday.
