2025 four-star edge rusher Jared Martin offered by USC

Jared Martin, a 6-foot-3, 220-pound edge rusher from San Diego Central High School, has been offered by the USC Trojans.

A triple-threat athlete, Martin finished his sophomore football season with 15 sacks, 71 tackles and 20 tackles for loss. He also averaged 22.3 points per game in basketball and batted .440 for the El Centro High baseball team playing first base and outfield.

“It’s a dream come true. Ever since I was a little kid, my older brother was telling me like ‘dude, you have everything it takes to play at the next level and even more,'” added Martin. “For me to be able to actually live it and I mean there’s not a lot of people who have been in my shoes before, especially from the Valley (Imperial). Even just being from here, knowing that I didn’t leave or that I didn’t go chase it, that it kind of came to me, it’s kind of like a really special thing to me and my family.”

Jared Martin is rated No. 181 overall in the 2025 class. He also comes in as the 17th-best edge rusher and No. 20 in the state of California.

Others offers for Martin outside of USC are from Arizona, Arizona State, Cal, San Diego State, Penn State, Washington and Oregon State.
