Thursday's championship games
District 8-6A baseball tournament
Viera 4, St. Cloud 0
Evan Lipski sent the ball out of USSSA Stadium on Thursday in the third inning, driving in two runs to double the Hawks advantage and clinch the district championship. He was 2-for-3 at the plate. Dominic Leoni and Michael Schmidt also collected a pair of hits for top-seeded Viera, now 14-11. Dylan Jordan struck out 10 in relief.

District 13-5A baseball tournament
Rockledge 3, Eau Gallie 0
Gabriel Norman went five innings without a run allowed, and Bryce Turner closed it out the same way as the two combined for the Raiders no-hitter. They matched the performance of Clayton Cooksey, who threw a no-hitter in Tuesday's semifinal win over Bayside. Rockledge is 25-2, and Eau Gallie is 14-12.
District 8-4A baseball tournament
Merritt Island 8, Satellite 0
When Noah Knight came to bat in the fourth inning, the home team already had a three-run lead. He drove in two more on the way to a big offensive night for the Mustangs, host and No. 1 seed. Merritt Island improved to 20-5, and Satellite dropped to 15-7.
Wednesday's results
District 10-3A baseball tournament
Championship game: MCC 15, Cocoa Beach 6
Tanner Garza drove in four runs and Ryder Widick three. Widick also struck out seven of 11 batters in relief. MCC improved to 19-8 at Cocoa Beach.
The Minutemen (10-13) led, 4-2, going to the bottom of the third.
