2023 Wimbledon women's final: Time, TV, streaming for Ons Jabeur vs. Marketa Vondrousova

The Wimbledon women's bracket has been full of surprises in the past two weeks.

No. 7 seed Coco Gauff bowed out in the first round, while No. 5 seed Caroline Garcia fell in the third round. Three of the top four seeds lost in the quarterfinals: French Open champion and No. 1 seed Iga Swiatek, No. 3 seed and reigning Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina and No. 4 seed Jessica Pegula.

As a result, an underdog has reached the Wimbledon final.

Czech tennis player Marketa Vondrousova became the first unseeded player to advance to the Wimbledon final in 60 years – since a young Billie Jean King (née Moffitt) advanced to her first Grand Slam singles final in 1963. Vondrousova reached the final of the French Open in 2019, but her journey to the Wimbledon final is unique since she had never advanced past the second round in singles and missed the tournament entirely last year.

Marketa Vondrousova will play in her first Wimbledon singles final on Saturday.

There's nothing unusual about Vondrousova's opponent – No. 6 seed Ons Jabeur.

The Tunisian star made it to the Wimbledon final last year, becoming the first African women to reach a Grand Slam final in the Open era. She followed that up two months later with a trip to the US Open women's final. Jabeur lost both major finals in 2022 but is back for another shot at her first Grand Slam trophy.
