2023 Senior Bowl: Standouts, news and notes from Day 1
While the Indianapolis Colts will be thoroughly conducting their head coach search, they also will be keeping a close on the prospects participating in the Senior Bowl down in Mobile this week.
Throughout the tenure of general manager Chris Ballard, they’ve used the Senior Bowl to find a number of prospects currently on the roster, including the likes of Shaquille Leonard, Alec Pierce, Tyquan Lewis and Bernhard Raimann.
Here’s a quick look at the standouts, news and notes from Day 1 of practices Tuesday:

Had the best day of the QBs here at the Senior Bowl.
In command of the offense. Made smart decisions with the ball. Most accurate thrower on the field. 6-foot-2, 216.

Miami cornerback Tyrique Stevenson is very impressive. Quick feet with awesome balance and body control. Easy mover with loose hips. Watching him in drills is pretty.

Very rough Day 1 of practice for several Senior Bowl OL.
BYU's Blake Freeland really struggled with his timing. Michigan's Olu Oluwatimi was often overmatched vs. both quickness and power. Important to see progress from both throughout the week.
