Here are 20 Upstate high school softball players to watch in 2024 SCHSL playoffs

Here are 20 high school softball players in the Upstate to watch as the SCHSL playoffs get started this week. State championships will be played May 20-24.

AG Batson, Sr., D.W. Daniel: Batson is an all-state pitcher for Daniel (13-10), which is a No. 3 seed in Class AAA.

Chaney Crosby, Sr., Daniel: Crosby has led the Lions by hitting .520 (13-for-25) with five doubles.

Courtney Dean, Sr., Byrnes: Dean, who has signed with Catawba, is one of the leading hitters for the Rebels (24-3), who are seeded No. 1 in Class AAAAA and are ranked No. 3 statewide for all classifications by MaxPreps.

Hanna Durham, Jr.,. Blue Ridge: Durham is batting .438 (32-for-73) with 26 RBIs, two home runs and 29 runs scored for the Tigers (17-7), a No. 3 seed in Class AAA.

Emma Jo Evans, Jr., Belton-Honea Path: Evans holds the program’s career record with 26 home runs. The Bears (23-3) are a No. 2 seed in Class AAA.

Autumn Fisher, Sr., Chapman: Fisher is batting .529 (27-for-51) with five home runs and three triples for the Class AAA No. 1 seed Panthers (15-5). She is committed to USC Aiken.

Reagan Garrett, Sr. Chapman: Garrett is the Panthers’ ace pitcher and has a 1.51 ERA. She committed to Emmanuel.

Madison House, Jr., Spartanburg:  House is batting .667 (14-for-21) with 10 RBIs for a Spartanburg team (9-13-1) hoping to make a run as an at-large team in Class AAAAA,

Abby Jeffcoat, Sr., Powdersville: Jeffcoat has a 2.05 ERA in 27⅓ innings pitched for the Patriots (13-8), who are a No. 3 seed in Class AAA.

Laney Jennings, Sr., Pendleton: Jennings. a Marshall signee, is batting .571 (28-for-49) with six home runs and 19 RBIs for the No. 1 seed Bulldogs (12-7-1, 8-2 in Region 1).

Cassidy Lee, Sr., Woodmont: Lee is a power hitter and Hampton commit who slugged two home runs in a game down the stretch of the regular season for Woodmont (10-3), which is a No. 1 seed in Class AAAAA.

Cora Levy, Sr., Easley: Levy is a standout catcher who has signed with Gardner-Webb and is one of the leaders for the Green Wave, a No. 12 overall seed in the Class AAAA Upper State.

Aisling MacLeod, Sr., Greenville: MacLeod is the top slugger for Greenville (17-8), which is seeded No. 8 among 16 teams in the Class AAAA Upper State. MacLeod recently had a two-homer, eight-RBI game.

Sayde Parris, So., Boiling Springs: Parris is batting .662 (23-for-37) with seven home runs, five doubles, a triple and 15 RBIs for Class AAAAA No. 4 seed Boiling Springs (9-10).

Natalie Regan, Jr., Riverside: Regan, a Western Carolina commit, is the top hitter for Riverside (17-4), which is the No. 1 overall seed in the 16-team Class AAAA Upper State. In back-to-back games last week, Regan was 7-for-8 with two homers.

Sanaii Rivers, So., Wade Hampton: Rivers has eight home runs and ranks third in the state with 32 RBIs. She is batting .410 (25-for-61) with five doubles and four triples for the Generals (14-7), seeded sixth of 16 Upper State teams in Class AAAA.

Bella Rollins, 8th, Chesnee: Rollins is the top pitcher for a Chesnee team that went 3-1 in Region 1-AAA and has a No. 1 seed in its Upper State district.

Zoe Sullivan, Fr., Blue Ridge: Sullivan is the state’s RBI leader with 44. She is batting .507 (35-for-69) with six homers, seven doubles, three triples and 29 runs scored.

Kensley Vicars, Fr., Powdersville: Vicars has nine home runs (third-most in the state) with three triples and is batting .472 (25-for-53). She has scored 27 and driven in 21.

Bree Woods, Jr., Powdersville: Woods is batting .388 (19-for-49) with five home runs, 10 doubles and 19 RBIs.
