The spring sports season has officially arrived, and baseball time with it, as teams across the country prepare to head back out on the diamond. And for Bayside South baseball fans, there will be a lot to look forward to in the 2024 season.
The 2023 season saw a state championship trophy be brought back to the Eastern Shore, as the Parkside Rams took home the Class 2A State Title. 2023 also saw Stephen Decatur make an appearance in the 3A Semifinals, and plenty of competitive action in Class 1A, as teams like Snow Hill, Washington and Mardela battled for a regional title, with Snow Hill ultimately prevailing. And with a lot of talent once again residing in the Bayside South, it's shaping up to be another exciting baseball season on the Eastern Shore.
