Mac Jones is proving he might not only be the rookie quarterback in the best situation, he may be the best rookie quarterback.

Kyle Trask, Kellen Mond and Ian Book are the only three rookies to not see any action this year.

Here's a look at the 10 rookie QBs and how the ones who played fared.

Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars

Clemson | Round 1, Pick 1

Lawrence had the opportunity to lead a game-winning drive but fumbled it away in a 23-17 loss to the Indianapolis Colts.

On first and 10 from the Indianapolis 46-yard line, with 50 seconds remaining, Lawrence lost the football when he was sacked by Dayo Odeyingbo and DeForest Buckner. Kemoko Turay collected the ball for the Colts, who then ran out the clock.

Lawrence struggled to complete downfield passes. John Reid of the Times-Union reported Lawrence has not completed more than 59% of his passes in the past three games. In Sunday's loss to the Colts, Lawrence had a season-low 46% completion rate.

Lawrence finished 16 of 35 for 162 yards.

The Jaguars host the San Francisco 49ers this Sunday.

Zach Wilson, New York Jets

BYU | Round 1, Pick 2

Wilson sat out New York's 45-17 drubbing to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday while his injured knee continues to heal.

After buzz around New York about Wilson's backup, Mike White, it looks as though Wilson doesn't have to worry. White threw four interceptions in the loss to Buffalo and left the game late with an injury. He was replaced by the recently-signed Joe Flacco, who went 3-for-3 for 47 yards and a touchdown.

Barring setbacks, Wilson could play in the Jets' upcoming game at home against the Miami Dolphins.

Trey Lance, San Francisco 49ers

NDSU | Round 1, Pick 3

The 49ers defeated the Los Angeles Rams 31-10 on Monday Night football.

Lance did not play and has not seen game action since Oct. 10.

Justin Fields, Chicago Bears

Ohio State | Round 1, Pick 11

The Bears had a bye week. Through nine week,s Fields has thrown for 1,282 yards, 4 touchdowns and 8 interceptions. He's rushed for 288 yards and 2 touchdowns.

The Bears are 3-6 and have lost four games in a row. They host the Baltimore Ravens this Sunday.

Mac Jones, New England Patriots

Alabama | Round 1, Pick 15

Jones was efficient and effective in New England's 45-7 crushing of the Cleveland Browns.

Jones ended the day 19-for-23 for 198 yards and three touchdowns. He finished with by far his best quarterback rating of his young career at 142.1.

Jones got a big assist from fellow rookie running back Rhamondre Stevenson, who toted the ball 20 times for 100 yards and two touchdowns.

The Patriots are just a half game out of first place in the AFC East and next the Atlanta Falcons this Thursday on a short week of rest.

Kyle Trask, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Florida | Round 2, Pick 64

Trask has yet to make his NFL debut. He's listed at No. 3 on the quarterback depth chart in Tampa Bay, behind Tom Brady and Blaine Gabbert.

Kellen Mond, Minnesota Vikings

Texas A&M | Round 3, Pick 66

Mond has yet to make his NFL debut. He's listed at No. 3 on the quarterback depth chart in Minnesota, behind Kirk Cousins and Sean Mannion.

Davis Mills, Houston Texans

Stanford | Round 3, Pick 67

The Texans were on a bye week. Mills was benched in the Texans' previous game as starter Tyrod Taylor returned to the lineup. Taylor threw three interceptions in his return as the Texans lost to the Miami Dolphins.

The Texans next play at the Tennessee Titans and Taylor is expected to start.

Ian Book, New Orleans Saints

Notre Dame | Round 4, Pick 133

Book has yet to make his NFL debut. He's listed at No. 3 on the quarterback depth chart in New Orleans, behind Trevor Siemian and Taysom Hill.

Both Siemian and Hill played Sunday, with Siemian starting and taking the majority of the snaps.

Sam Ehlinger, Indianapolis Colts

Texas | Round 6, Pick 218

Ehlinger did not play in the Colts' 23-17 win over the Jaguars. He is listed as the backup to Carson Wentz. He made his NFL debut Nov. 4 against the New York Jets, seeing action on one play. He has not played since.
