Obama begins African tour

U.S. President Barack Obama kicked off his family's trip to Africa with a two-day tour of Senegal this week. The visit included a stop at the ruins of an infamous slave house on Goree Island as well as a chance for the president to speak with farmers of the West African state. The First Family will next be stopping in South Africa, where citizens await news about the health of former South African president Nelson Mandela.
