SamG: Passing along a post... Months ago when I mentioned to a group of teenagers that few years ago when people went to museums or any institutes/buildings, NO NEED to check bags and personal belongings for any explosive/bomb, but nobody believed me. I deeply miss our good old days, everybody worked and took care of their family, higher moral standard, everyone acted responsibly and took responsibility for their actions. Children played on the streets at inner city neighborhood and walked to school, nobody worry about safety issue, neighborhood, house, and yard were clean and well maintained, we didn't have to lock our front doors at night. People had respect for each other, motivation and industrious are encouraged, prosperous economy, Fairfield Yard near harbor had 40,000 workers, nearby Glenn Martin had 100,000 workers, RCA had hiring announcement every week. Less illegal immigrants, Detroitization of USA was never in my fear, people voted for common good and interest for our country, many people were happy, less abusive in social welfare, say Merry Christmas without worrying that they would offend someone, we said prayer at my downtown school. Teenagers happily worked at fast food places to earn money, not a career, very well respected international status, and we had only few billions sovereign debt even after we built Hoover dam, Tennessee valley hydroelectric project, and highest density highway system of the world to benefit hundreds millions people decades ago.
