The countdown is on for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, which tapes Wednesday, Nov. 30, in Paris and airs Monday, Dec. 5. Here's what the Angels will look like as they make their way down the glitter-laden runway.

Cosmopolitan.com got the inside scoop - and backstage exclusive photos - from lead makeup artist Tom Pecheux, as well as lead hairstylist Anthony Turner and Beachwaver spokesperson Sarah Potempa. Spoiler alert: There's a cat-eye, which you can see a makeup artist perfecting on Jasmine Tookes.

For the makeup, Pecheux created a look that was a "balance between chic Parisian and American glamour." He chose "fresh and soft hues to enhance the model's naturally glowing complexions and individual features," he said. "Foundation was applied over concealer to create the most natural-looking skin finish." He did not add any finishing powder or bronzer "for a fresher, more radiant complexion." The models' cheekbones were highlighted in natural tones of crystal, bronze, and copper tones, depending on their skin tones, for an added glow.

Next, on the models' eyes, he used a mix of soft gray and brown hues along the lash line for a flattering cat-eye. Then he swiped on two to three coats of the Max Factor Epic Mascara to accentuate the look. Pecheux's pro tip: "Allow the mascara to dry between layers from the most voluminous effect." Lastly, the girls' lips were tinted with Victoria's Secret Velvet Lip Matte in "Adorned" and "Perfection," and then topped with a pink gloss for extra shine.

For the models who started out with straight hair, Turner wanted to create a look that was "a little bit sexy and a little bit rock and roll," he told Cosmopolitan.com. To get the look, Turner applied a prep spray from L'Oréal Professionnel to the models' damp hair. "We want the curl to hold, so the curls don't drop," he added. After that, Turner blew the models' hair dry and, using his fingers, mussed it up for a tousled effect. Extensions were then applied to add fullness (not length) before Turner took Potempa's Beachwaver Pro Professional Rotating Curling Iron, grabbed random sections of hair, and curled each section in opposite directions to make it feel "more messed up." Finally, he used a wide-toothed comb to give a piece-y, disheveled effect and L'Oréal's Mythic Oil to tame any frizz.

For the models rocking afro-textured styles, Turner opted to only use Ouai's Finishing Créme on their hair, since the show celebrates individuality and natural beauty. He chose this product in particular because it gave the girls' hair separation and definition without making it look oily.

And here's Jourdana Elizabeth, Herieth Paul, and Maria Borges rocking shorter buzz cuts:

For fun, here's a comparison of last year's look and this year's hair and makeup to see how they differ.

In 2015, the hair was definitely more glamorous and the makeup was more subdued.

For 2016, the hair is more rock and roll with a cool-girl bend, while the makeup is more of the glamorous focus:
