Vikings' Smith draws $15,750 fine

Minnesota Vikings safety Harrison Smith was fined $15,750 for a horse-collar tackle on Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III, NFL.com reported Friday.

There were several other fines doled out by the league Friday stemming from last weekend's games.

Quinton Coples of the New York Jets was fined $10,000 for unnecessary roughness for a facemask on Indianapolis Colts quarterback Luck. The Jets' Aaron Maybin was fined $7,875 for striking Luck with his elbow.

Also, Lawrence Jackson of the Detroit Lions was fined $15,750 for roughing Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick and Lions wide receiver Nate Burleson was fined $10,500 for unsportsmanlike conduct. He simulated shooting a gun after scoring a touchdown against the Eagles.
